Evangelical Child and Family Agency is Hiring a Development Associate Near Wheaton, IL

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented part-time Development Associate to join our team. The Development Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts and building relationships with donors and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about nonprofit work and eager to contribute to our mission.

Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns
- Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities
- Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising events
- Assist in writing grant proposals and reports
- Coordinate volunteer activities
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop digital marketing materials social media content
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Provide administrative support as needed

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, public relations, marketing)
- Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
- Experience with donor databases and CRM software
- Experience in digital marketing strategies and platforms
- Excellent research skills for identifying potential donors and grant opportunities
- Ability to write compelling grant proposals, reports, and social media posts
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers
- Experience in event planning is a plus
